Wedding venue hire

R 21,000-00 includes the use of the:
*Chapel (seats approximately 120-150 people)
*The Harmony Hall - Function Hall (for Receptions and can accommodate up to 150 guests depending on table settings)
*Including cutlery, crockery and glasses *Tables, chairs and standard colour linen (white, black and sand colour) *Waitering staff for bar and tables (barman extra at R1,500-00) *The Waterside Room - Function Room dining room (for buffet food setup)
*Use of our cash bar for drinks (cash or credit cards welcome)
*Use of the billiard room.
*Use of the Boma at the Valley Lodge

Our luxury honeymoon suite – The Valley Suite

For only R2,000-00 extra we include our beautiful Valley Suite (Bridal suite) for 2 nights, sleeps 2 (normal rate is R2,800-00 for 2 nights)

We have an in-house function coordinator who can assist with flowers, décor, wedding cakes and related arrangements for your wedding.
Catering is done in-house by our chefs, please see menu suggestion below.
We have accommodation available for the wedding guests in our luxury Valley and Mountain Lodges.


Steynshoop Valley Lodge

This luxury Lodge is situated at the wedding venue and is ideal for guests staying over for weddings, if required, and consists of the following units:
*The Homestead – consisting of 5 en-suite bedrooms with King-size to double beds, sleeping 10
*The Arbour Cottage – Sleeps 2 guests on double bed, sleeping 2
*The Corner Cottage – Sleeps 2 guests on double bed and 2 on sleeper coach, sleeping 4
*Gatehouse 5a Cottage – Sleeps 2 guests on double bed and 2 on sleeper coach, sleeping 4
*Gatehouse 5b Cottage – Sleeps 2 guests on double bed and 2 on sleeper coach, sleeping 4

Steynshoop Mountain Lodge

Our luxury Mountain Lodge is adjacent to the Valley Lodge and is also available for wedding guest accommodation.
*This includes 5 Standard and 4 Luxury rooms all equipped with double to king size beds except for 2 rooms which has 2 x ¾ beds, in all sleeping 18 people.

ACCOMMODATION DEPOSIT AMOUNT ON INVOICE PAYABLE TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING
ACCOMMODATION CANCELLATION POLICY
0-7 days prior to arrival date, the full invoiced amount due is forfeited.
7-14 days prior to arrival date, 50% of the full invoiced amount is forfeited.
14-30 days prior to arrival date, 25% of the full invoiced amount is forfeited.
30 days or more prior to arrival date, 15% of the full invoiced amount is forfeited.
A 10% handling fee to cover admin and bank charges will be deducted from all refunds.
In the event of premature departure or late arrival, or no show by guests, the full amount is due and no refund will be made.
Any bank charges payable for direct deposits are for the guest's account.
Check-In Time: After 2 pm Check-out Time: Before 11 am
FUNCTIONS AND VENUE HIRE
30% DEPOSIT OF TOTAL INVOICED AMOUNT PAYABLE TO CONFIRM THE BOOKING.
BALANCE PAYABLE TWO CALENDAR WEEKS BEFORE DATE OF FUNCTION
FUNCTION / VENUE HIRE CANCELLATION POLICY
Less than 7 days prior to the event date, the full invoice amount is forfeited.
Less than 4 months prior to the event date, the full payable deposit is forfeited.
4 months or more prior to the event date, 50% of the payable deposit is forfeited.
In the event that the full deposit has not been paid, the depositor is still liable for their full obligations in terms of the above 50% required deposit.
A 10% handling fee to cover admin and bank charges will be deducted from all refunds.
